ADARx Pharmaceuticals has submitted a registration statement for a proposed initial public offering to be listed on the Nasdaq Global Market under the ticker ADRX, as announced in a company press release. Terms such as the offering's timing and size were not disclosed.
The company identifies itself as a late-stage clinical biotechnology firm specializing in small interfering RNA (siRNA) therapies. According to ADARx, its development pipeline comprises three clinical-stage candidates and two advanced preclinical programs aimed at various diseases.
These siRNA therapeutics operate by addressing diseases on a genetic basis via messenger RNA or RNA mechanisms, without inducing permanent alterations to a patient's DNA.
