Boston Scientific says cyberattack likely to hurt 2026 sales, profit
Reuters reported on Tuesday that Boston Scientific has disclosed a cybersecurity incident affecting its manufacturing and global order shipments, which the company believes will materially affect its financial results for the third quarter and the entire year of 2026.
The medical device manufacturer stated in a regulatory filing that it is unlikely to achieve its previously announced third-quarter and full-year targets for sales and adjusted profit. In premarket trading, the company's shares declined by 4.5%.
