Enbridge nears $2 billion deal for Blackstone’s Pony Express crude pipeline, Bloomberg News reports
According to a Bloomberg News report on Wednesday, Enbridge is in advanced discussions to acquire the Pony Express Pipeline, a major U.S. crude oil conduit, from Tallgrass Energy, a Blackstone-owned company, for approximately $2 billion, sources familiar with the situation said.
The report indicated that an announcement could come within days.
It added that no definitive decision has been reached, and the talks could still collapse or the schedule might shift.
Representatives for Enbridge, Blackstone, and Tallgrass Energy had not immediately responded to requests for comment from Reuters.
