Indonesia stocks higher at close of trade; IDX Composite Index up 0.97%
At Tuesday's closing bell, Indonesian stocks finished higher, with advances in the infrastructure, financials, and agriculture sectors leading the upturn.
The IDX Composite Index rose 0.97% to settle at a fresh three-month high on the Jakarta exchange.
Leading gainers on the IDX Composite Index included Pool Advista Finance Tbk PT (JK:POLA), which climbed 34.62%, or 18.00 points, to close at 70.00. Bukit Darmo Property Tbk (JK:BKDP) advanced 34.13%, or 57.00 points, to finish at 224.00, while Hotel Sahid Jaya Tbk (JK:SHID) gained 25.00%, or 170.00 points, to 850.00 in late trading.
The session's biggest decliners were Nusantara Almazia (JK:NZIA), which dropped 13.16%, or 30.00 points, to 198.00 at the close. Lotte Chemical Titan Tbk PT (JK:FPNI) fell 12.88%, or 85.00 points, to end at 575.00, and Jayamas Medica Industri PT (JK:OMED) slipped 10.32%, or 26.00 points, to 226.00.
On the Jakarta Stock Exchange, advancing issues outnumbered declining ones 374 to 256, while 202 stocks closed unchanged.
Bukit Darmo Property Tbk (JK:BKDP) shares reached a five-year high during the session, surging 34.13%, or 57.00 points, to 224.00.
Crude oil futures for October delivery climbed 3.42%, or $3.13, to $94.61 per barrel. In other commodities, November Brent oil advanced 2.40%, or $2.33, to reach $99.33 a barrel, while December gold futures declined 0.85%, or $38.04, to $4,438.56 per troy ounce.
USD/IDR gained 0.10% to 17,633.70, while AUD/IDR slipped 0.07% to 12,711.23.
U.S. Dollar Index futures declined 0.24% to 98.92.
