Infosys does not expect material impact from US PERM suspension
Oct 10 (Reuters) – Infosys, India's second-largest IT company, said on Saturday that it does not expect a material impact from the US government's suspension of Permanent Labor Certification (PERM) applications.
The US government said on Thursday that it was suspending several major global technology and IT companies, including Infosys, from the PERM green card program, which lets skilled foreign workers obtain permanent US residency through employment.
In an exchange filing, Infosys said, "We welcome the opportunity to work with the Department of Labor and related government agencies to answer any questions they may have."
