Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.40%

Saudi Arabian equities closed lower on Monday, as declines in the Transport, Agriculture & Food, and Media & Publishing sectors dragged the market down.

At the close, the Tadawul All Share index had fallen 0.40%.

The day's top gainers on the Tadawul All Share included Banan Real Estate Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4324), which advanced 8.00%, or 0.24 points, to finish at 3.24. Al Etihad Cooperative Insurance Co SJSC (TADAWUL:8170) climbed 5.21%, or 0.42 points, to close at 8.48, while Naqi Water Co (TADAWUL:2282) rose 5.00%, or 2.85 points, to settle at 59.80 in late trading.

The session's worst performers were led by Saudi Ground Services Co (TADAWUL:4031), which lost 6.95%, or 1.84 points, to end at 24.62. Knowledge Economic City (TADAWUL:4310) declined 4.60%, or 0.94 points, to close at 19.50, and Yanbu National Petrochemical Co (TADAWUL:2290) dropped 4.07%, or 1.38 points, to 32.50.

On the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange, falling issues outpaced advancing ones by 223 to 108, with 23 stocks ending unchanged.

Saudi Ground Services Co (TADAWUL:4031) shares slid to three-year lows, declining 6.95%, or 1.84 points, to 24.62.

Crude oil for October delivery gained 1.02%, or $0.93, to $92.41 a barrel. In other commodities, Brent oil for November delivery rose 1.18%, or $1.14, to $97.42 per barrel, while December gold futures fell 0.77%, or $34.66, to trade at $4,441.94 per troy ounce.

EUR/SAR rose 0.14% to 4.37, while USD/SAR inched up 0.01% to 3.76.

The U.S. Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 98.86.
