Trump administration blasts Ford business deals with Chinese firms
WASHINGTON, Sept 8 (Reuters) - The Trump administration on Tuesday strongly condemned Ford Motor's business partnerships with Chinese companies, stating that they give rise to serious national security concerns.
In a letter sent on Tuesday to Ford Chief Executive Jim Farley, U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said that the automaker's collaborations with Chinese battery manufacturer CATL and Chinese automakers Geely and BYD raised "profound concern."
